Sun, June 2, 2024
10am - 1pm
Laytonsville MD.
With James Foulkes and Roseanna Stanton
As our lives become increasingly rushed and fragmented, slowing down and connecting with Nature is essential for our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health.
Being in skillful relationship with animals, or humans requires that we learn to calm our nervous systems, open our awareness and regulate ourselves to a slower pace.
In this workshop we will explore a Qi Gong practice outside in nature, energizing and calming ourselves as we enjoy time away from a busy urban space.
We will then work with the horses using the “Liberty Method” a way of working with horses, therapeutically, that employs the creation and holding of flexible boundaries.
During our time with them we will open our awareness and presence to these intelligent beings and explore connection and flow.
We will not be riding the horses in this session.
James has been teaching Qi Gong for more than a decade and practicing for more than 20 years. He is a Yoga Therapist, teaches Yoga, Craniosacral Therapy and Qi Gong in DC and internationally.
Roseanna is an experienced life and leadership coach who partners with horses using the liberty method.
This experiential workshop will be held in Laytonsville MD.
